Dolltopia

Shortly after Eternia leaned in the open door and watched as Sinistra tried to stuff the leaves, which she curiously seemed to have gathered with a broom, into a bucket with a shovel. She felt tired from watching this. "Geez... Don't you think you should leave that until we can buy a proper rake or something?"
"No way, what will the neighbours think!" the elementalist indignantly answered.
"And you can't take the leaves to the trashbin with magic?"
"Leaves are way too mischievous to talk sense into them. I rather do this by hand!"
"Okay...", Eternia said driely.

From the corner of her eye she noticed something that caught her attention.
"Bleargh, what the heck is this stuff?!" she asked in disgust after looking more closely at the large flower pots of her housemate. "That looks absolutely disgusting and utterly... dead. Do you really find something like that attractive?"
"Those aren't plants but Kuru-twines", Sinistra corrected her while she kept working. "That's the best culture medium for magical plants."
"Magical plants?"
"Correct. Just you wait. When the flowers grow nicely I might even be able to sell them to Elizabeth, but I'm going to need way more pots."
"Speaking of that... I'm done with the dishes and want to go to the city in a moment. How long until you're done here?"
"Well, I..."

Dolltopia

"Juuuuuuuust a sec!" Eternia interrupted her, her gaze suddenly fixated on something entirely different. She whistled softly. "What do we have here?!"
"Huh?" Sinistra followed her gaze to the sidewalk.

A young man was walking past their garden with a quick pace. He carried some packages, was casually dressed and seemed determined to reach a certain goal.

"Well, that one's not bad at all..."
"Huh?"

Dolltopia

"Hello, you there with the woolie! Wait a sec!" Eternia yelled and light-footedly hopped down the stairs .
The young man stopped in his tracks and looked around, bewildered. When he noticed the young women he looked surprised. His eyes looked like a deer in the headlights.
The blonde put on her prettiest smile. "Hi!"
"Err... hi!" he said and still looked slightly startled. "Uh, do you live here?"
"Yes, we moved in yesterday. That is Sinistra over there, and I am Eternia."
"Gosh, it's been ages since last somebody lived here... Actually, I thought a ghost was calling for me." He laughed uneasily and seemed to be embarrassed.
"Wow, is that true? The house didn't look like it was deserted for long. In any case, I'm not a ghost, I assure you of that!" The woman laughed and made a flirtatious move to show that her body was indeed very much real.
"Ha ha, that's good to know! By the way, I'm Jeremiah."

Dolltopia

"Cool! Do you live in these parts, Jeremiah?"
"No, I don't, why?"
"Well, I thought... you're out without a jacket, in this weather."
"Oh, that! I work part-time at the pastry shop Foodie and am on a delivery. But I don't live here."
"Oh, at the pastry shop? That sounds totally interesting. Are they hiring, by any chance? Still looking for a job with nice colleagues."
"Maybe... The boss is an awesomely nice gal. I'd say just try it."
"Sounds good!" Eternia smiled.

Dolltopia

"Well, err..." The young man was slightly at a loss of words, and when Sinistra curiously stepped behind Eternia he looked afraid again. The pale woman with the old-fashioned clothes slightly creeped him out.
Eternia didn't allow his attention to turn away from her. "Then we'll see you here from time to time regularly, don't we, Jeremiah?"
"Err... what?!"
"Well, I mean, whenever you have a delivery", she explained and pointed towards the packages.
"Oh. Yes, sure, sometimes!" He laughed cautiously. He really wasn't sure about the other one, but the blonde one didn't exactly look like a ghost. Actually, she was pretty hot.
"Do you work tomorrow?" she asked.
"Only in the afternoon, after uni."
"Cool! Then we'll meet again tomorrow when I'll talk to your boss." Her eyes sparkled.
When he realized that she was interested in him Jeremiah grinned. "Okay, I'll tell her you'll come by."
"Great."
"Err...", he flinched all of a sudden, "now I've gotta run or I'll get in trouble over these muffins. See ya tomorrow!"
"See ya tomorrow, Jeremiah!"
"Goodbye!" Sinistra chimed in and was surprised to notice that the young man, who was already on his way again, suddenly quickened his pace.
