Dolltopia Outtake

"Good evening!" A young woman shyly approached Sinistra and Eternia. "Is this the correct place to check in for the move?"
"Oh, hello! Yes, this is correct!" Sinistra smiled. "I'm sorry, do we know each other already? I can't remember your face. I'm Sinistra."
"Hello, Sinistra. No, so far I've always been in the showcase. Sadly I can't tell you my name..."
"Huh? What does that mean?" Eternia asked, perplexed.
"I'm a second hand doll and nothing about me was original when I arrived. Nobody knows who I was and the boss didn't give me a new name yet. Just a new body and this wig." The nameless had a very sad look in her eyes. She also seemed somewhat shaken by the long time without an identity but she held herself well.
"Damn, that's hard", Eternia said sympathetically.
"I propose we call you Rosa, for the time being, due to your sweater."
"Oh! He he, good idea!" Rosa smiled shyly.

"We do have a problem though, Rosa." The elementalist explained. "For safety reasons everyone has to travel in pairs and it's quite late already."
"Yes, it's unlikely that today someone else will come by to check in." Eternia nodded in agreement and Sinistra added: "If you didn't bring a friend to travel with you we can't let you into the box."
"Oh my, what shall I do? I don't know anyone here... What if I can't find a travel companion tomorrow either and the day after... In the end I might be forced to stay here!" Rosa seemed desparate.

Eternia was just about to explain to her that this was very unlikely to happen when a dark figure stepped into the light.
"If the young lady is willing to wait a moment until I have doffed my street clothes I will be more than happy to be her protector on the journey." The man's voice was gentle and sensous.
"Oh!" Rosa was delighted. "That's so nice of you, mister! Thank you very much!"
"Err, just a moment..." Eternia tried to step in but Sinistra already took to it like a duck to water. "That is really nice of you! What do you want us to pack away, mister...?"
"Call me Dorian, my dear."
"So it's mister Dorian, very well. Hand me your shawl and what other items you want stored. Then we're almost done. Poor Rosa doesn't seem to own anything, after all."

"My pleasure." Dorian handed Sinistra his shawl and gloves before conjuring up a bouquet of red roses and giving it to her, too. Then he took Rosa by the arm and led her away. The young woman was overjoyed. "I was so lucky that you want to check in today too, mister Dorian. It is very friendly of me to travel with me without even knowing me."
"We will get to know each other, don't worry." In the moonlight the man's eyes shortly flashed like those of a predator.
"Hopefully I won't trouble you!"
"Oh, please! A fresh young girl like you can never be trouble. It will be my pleasure to take you under my wings." The pal man put his arm around Rosa's shoulder and looked her deep in the eyes, almost hypnotizing.

Eternia stood with Sinistra, waved her arms and yelled: "Stop! No, Rosa! Don't go with him!"
"Eternia, why do you cause such a ruckus?!" Sinistra admonished her. "Can't you take it that a man is interested in another woman than you for a change?"
"Are you crazy?! That isn't a man!" Eternia exclaimed. "Didn't you see his fangs when he turned and smiled?!"
"That must have been your imagination."
"Imagination?! That guy is related to Elizabeth, it's as plain as the nose in your face!"
"So what? Then maybe he's an alchemist too. That's a respectable occupation."
"Alchemist! Damn, are all of you blind?!" Eternia exclaimed outraged but unable to attack Dorian without proof. Apart from that she doubted that she could beat this opponent without the right weapin.
"Rosaaaaaaa! Don't forget that your name is Rosa! Don't you know what happened to people without names in movies?!"
