The Seekers on holiday FanArt?
« on: June 17, 2009, 08:17:36 pm »

So, that's it. Technical problems don't provide us with new narcotics episodes of Seekers. No more comic until september. The whole summer without our heroes. That's just sad.

What would the Seekers do on holiday? If they could stay at your place, where would you show them around? Are there any romantic spots for the lovers or places to check out for Eloya? What would Giselda eat at your place? Might the heroes get involved in local legend and lore? Or is your place so boring you rather take them to you favorite holiday spot?

Take a camera and show us, or a pencil and make fanart out of it! Write a recipe for Giselda, tell about the things they might do at your place. Or however you think the Seekers might spend the summerholidays, if you are inspired.

Help the fans through the summer with some fanart!

Yes, this is a great idea! ^^
I planned to post some random holiday stuff on the splash page from time to time, but this is better.

May I quote this on the website to direct people here?

Here Giselda made a trip to Little Big Planet. Isn't she cute?
(Although her skin is a bit dark, but that might be the lighting in the level editor because I'm pretty sure she has yellow damask skin. *gg*)

On the first two pics she helped me build a beach level. Then she partied in her space pod!

If I can ever get my hubbie to take pics of her playing a level I'll show them. And of course once I manage to build a level of her garden with ridable Akshi and all I'll show that too.

(Source: Little Big Planet for PS3, by Media Molecule and Sony! I think all the costume parts are from the base game, no additional pay or limited content. I just used stickers to change the colours, so anyone who has that game can make their own Giselda.)

Sooooo adorable.  My next paycheck I think I'm going to buy the materials to make my fairy wings.  I don't have the money for my green wig yet, but I do have my natural hair and a purple wig, and I know I've seen Gisi in the art gallery with both those colors!

So, as soon as I construct my fairy wings, you all can get some live-action fan art from me!

The purple haired Giselda is from Distant Lands, an alternative world forum play that Nico led back then.

The natural hair colour of the original Seekers Gisi is blonde though, so you could even go without a wig! ^^

Not at all.  She's not that well known yet, I'm just a horrible dork.

She's an actress, she's done a good deal of Joss Whedon.  Her most popular work was Dr. Horrible's Sing Along Blog.  And she now has her own web series about mmorpg's called The Guild.  She's cute as a button and has one hell of a singing voice.
