I made this last year. July time. It was meant to be a bracelet type thing for myself, but it ended up being far too long, so instead it hangs on this shelf.
I made another three, but gave them to members of FranKo. I don't think I took photos of them completed.

Have a photo of my reasonable attempts at needle felting. Using a mould of course. The blue and white was my first attempt, the all cream was the second, and is much better.

Second and third are photos of the presents I made for my parents for Christmas last year.
A glasses case with an owl (It's Owloicous from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic) for my mum, and an iPod case for my dad.

MORE!

My first Chameleon. He's bigger than the ones I was selling, and has actually got googley eyes!

Then there's the candle holder I made for Rini for her birthday/Christmas last year, but still haven't given her (oops).

And some Felt fish that are actually filled with toy stuffing and catnip for use as cat toys.

Your felted flowers are fabulous!
Aw, you always make the cutest stuff! I want to make such things too but everyone I know would hate being gifted with them. >.< Why can't I know cool people like you? (Maybe it would help to know some, you know, WOMEN and not just computer geeks and academics. Let's not talk about the face my mum makes when I make something for my grandma instead of buying cheap kitsch.)

Googley eyes are sooo fitting for a chameleon, it looks great! That owl is just adorable, I love it!

Penguin made using this pattern
triciarennea.blogspot.co.uk/2008/12/felt-penguin.html

Also, can't remember if I ever posted these anywhere before.
Custom FranKo converse.
They're not official converse, obviously, because they don't have the Logo on them. =P

And then there's my newest project.
Dave Giles inspired shoes!
So far they've begun their lives as plain white, and become purple!

Mini update on the shoes!
One's almost finished, just needs a few bits tweaking or adding then it's done!

Wow... how do you do that? Fabric paints?

Both shoes look really sweet.

Actually ephie, the shoes started white, then I got them wet, and straight away applied some really watered down 'Liche Purple' Games Workshop acrylic. This 'stained' the shoes instead of 'painting them'. Then I painted white acrylic patches where I'm going to draw pictures. Outlines are a permanent marker, and the colouring's all done with coloured pencils. =D

Bugger. Just remembered something else I was going to get while I was out. New laces for these. Oh well. They'll have to be plain white after all.

The FranKo ones are all just plain drawing pencil, with a bit of white around the edges of the pictures to give them some more definition, and permanent marker on the laces and the writing. =)

Interesting, as I need 6-7 layers of Liche Purple to achieve decent opacity on miniatures. ;D
Doesn't the white paint peel off when moving though? I had bad experiences when I tried something similar on a bag years ago. Pencils and colour pencils? Is that rainproof?
I'm just baffled.

Darn, now I really want to go and sew something for a dollie, for some unfathomable reason.

I forgot to add, everything is then smothered in multiple layers of hairspray. XD. And I don't know about rainproof. Probably not to be honest. But since these aren't really for every day wear I don't worry too much about it.
And if you use thin enough layers of paint, it tends to just flex with the movement. =)

Hairspray is a great sealant, I often used it for my pencil drawings whenever I ran out of proper fixative. *nods*

There's one thing I wonder about (and my hubbie too)... why are the prefered motifs to make Dave Giles shoes pink muffins, tea cups and other sweets? ;D

All the images on the Dave shoes are inspired by songs of his. =D
Cupcake, Drink Tea And Carry on, I could list for ages. =')

Drink Tea & Carry On got a retitle btw, it's now called Churchfield Road.

Couldn't really think of anywhere else to put this...
I made a board for my Disney princess charms and bracelet to hang on because, well, I'm not likely to actually wear them on the bracelet, at least not all at once. So here it is.
Also my mini bow board that I can't remember if I posted before. Featuring the prototype Queen Elinor mini bow.

I've been knitting! Oh No!
Wrist warmers!
First attempt is a bit rubbish, but not bad for a first. Second is amazing! I love the wool so much. I might make these for people for Christmas this year!

He he he. ^^

Aw, I forgot to tell you how much I like the charms board! I really have to make one of those for my buttons. Is thick cardboard good enough as an understructure or did you use wood?

I actually used the backing from an old clip style picture frame. I also used a bit of hard board. But I guess Thick card might work? Not tried it, but hey, first time for everything, right?

Posted a wee bit later

I NEEDLE FELTED A WHALE WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS!

I know the second photo is blurry. XP Sorry about that. My phone sucks sometimes.

It's very cute. ^^ It has no eyes though, the poor little git! Nice shade of blue you got there.

He does have eyes! Just... not added on. XD I just punched the eyes in. We don't have any black after all.

Posted a wee bit later

I made Holly's Birthday present! Her birthday is Christmas day, so she'll get at least two presents!

She got me into The Hunger Games, and thus, both her planned gifts are Hunger Games inspired/related.

I did some searching for what I could do with a book, and found these frame things you could put a part of a page in. Finding out her favourite line was easy, so I found myself a cheap copy of the book and set about destroying it. Not something I usually do, but it turns out it worked well! Have some photos of Holly's Hunger Games pendant.

And the Christmas present to go with it! A notebook. I was going to cross stitch the mockingjay on some felt, and cover the book in felt, but an A4 sheet wasn't big enough, and I'm impatient. Besides, I had that WHOLE book, Might as well make use of it, right?

The book pages cover the back, front, spine, and inside both back and front. I also found the words from one of the songs within the book, and they're on the front inside facing page. =)

I think she's going to like these.

The book is very nice, although wrapping it in selfadhesive foil might make it more sturdy. To be honest I don't like the pendant though since the book's font is too large to read it. Just my opinion though.

I agree about the font being a wee bit too big, but it's all I had to work with, and I think it went down well, so that's what matters most. ^^

Now, photos of the box I decorated for my Magic cards! Okay so it's definitely not going to be big enough for very long... I'll just keep it for transporting my main deck(s) in, I guess? XD

The lid has the symbols in plain black (Mixed with a little silver), and on the back, they're in colour (again mixed with a wee bit of silver for some sparkle). You can't really see the sun on the back though... I mean, IRL you can, but in the photos it doesn't show too great.
I also painted on the bottom my initial and surname, and the date 23-12-12 because that's when I first learnt to play, so it's kind of an important date. =)

Yup! I was going to outline in shiney black, but basically decided not to bother after all. =P It now sits in my room with random stuff thrown in it. Had to upgrade to a bigger box for all those cards.
