"So, is your job hard?" asked Eternia.
Sol scratched his head. "No, not really. Although Wati likes to think we're important, most of the time we only escort visitors around. Not much danger there."
Eternia was about to ask another question when Libra wandered by.
"Hey, doofus!" she said to Sol with a harsh look on her face.

"Huh? Do you mean me?" the man asked and went down on his knee to look in her face. "You really don't want to insult a guard, young lady."
Eternia laughed. "Don't mind her. That's just Ms. Impolite, the garden faerie Libra."
"Yes, I am Libra and I'm responsible for this party!" The tiny faerie was angry. "So how dare you show up in these... these summer clothes and a surfer's tan that totally destroy the festive atmosphere!"
"What?! I'm always this tanned..."
Libra swung her wand and, before Sol could react, several stars whirled over his head.

With an audible plopp a Christmas hat materialized on his head. "Err..."
Libra made a noise that sounded like a satisfied grunt. "Problem solved! Go on with the party!"
"I'm not so sure Wati would approve of this..."
Eternia snorted. "Aw, but it suits you so well!"

Libra put on a professional smile. "If captain Wati has objections against your new dress code, tell him I'll see that he gets to wear a complete santa suit if he makes you take the hat off."
Eternia snorted even louder. "Oh, I'd like to see that!"
The faerie walked away. "If you need me, I'm inside!"

"Sir, yes sir!" Sol scratched his head again, smiling.
"Are you really on duty today?" asked Eternia. "I thought you came here for fun."
"Well, actually we have the day off, but I think the captain wants to impress Lady Nahh-Ato with our tenacity in protecting the young princess, should she really show up later."
Eternia grimaced. Getting to Wati was harder than she thought. But there was still Arion... and Sol's company wasn't unpleasant either...

"Oh my, I dawdled so long. Everyone's probably already in the garden." Fixing the wings to her back had given her some trouble, but now Nareen was fully dressed. She was on her way out the door when a soft whistle stopped her.

"Hey, Nareen. Come over here for a minute!" said Libra, poking her head out of the wardrobe.

"Huh? Libra? What are you doing in there?" she asked and went down on her knees.
"Deliveries." was the short answer. "I have something especially for you though."
"For me? But I already recieved this pullover." The necromancer stared at a silver necklace the tiny faerie held in her hand. "Oh, it's so pretty!"
"This is a present from a special someone." Libra said with a wink.
"What?! You don't mean from Arion or some other man? In that case I rather don't want it!"
"No, don't worry. This is an ankh, an ancient symbol of life. It's a present from someone who likes your necromancer profession."
"Oh... Alright then, this is mysterious but I'll take it."

"This is so nice I'll wear it everyday from now on." said Nareen with a smile.
Libra grinned.
"Oh, but won't Eternia become jealous if I get so many presents..."
"Don't worry. Jewelry was on her wishlist too, after all." The faerie rolled her eyes when she remembered the long list.
"Ha ha. Let's go now."
"You go alone. I still have work to do here!" And with that Libra slammed the wardrobe door shut from the inside.
